Valentina Torboli Rapetti was born in Riva del Garda February 2nd 1985.
In 2003, she graduated from the Leoncillo Leonardi Art Institute in Spoleto with a degree in Maestro of Art's in Art Photography, focusing on analog portrait and darkroom printing.
She began working with digital photography, especially theatrical performances and concerts, and collaborated with Balletto.net.'s on-line editorial team.
In 2011, she achieved artistic maturity in Graphic Design and Cinematography at the Institute d'Art Fortunato Depero of Rovereto.
At this institute, she also perfected digital layout and photo editing techniques, likewise she improved the use of cameras and video editing, directing documentaries broadcast at some independent festivals and museums.
She graduated with honors in painting from the Academy of Fine-Arts in Verona in 2015 with a thesis on conceptual art.
In recent years she exhibited in group exhibitions in northern Italy and was selected in 2012 for the National Prize of Arts as a representative of the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona, exhibiting at the Pinacoteca Albertina in Turin.
Over the academic years, she worked with critic and curator Vittoria Coen and learned the methodology of the exhibition.
Between 2015 and 2018, she directed the Studio10 Art Gallery in Malcesine.
Starting in 2020, she left almost completely the digital world to return to her great passions, art, graphics, hollow printing and watercolor painting.
She perfects the chalcographic engraving technique, especially dry-point on Plexiglas and deepens the study of the watercolor technique first with Maestro Luigi Meregalli and then following online training courses with international masters.
Using these techniques on paper, she combines portrait and landscape design.
Since 2021, she is the owner of Tiny Creativity Shop in Malcesine. In this pretty shop, she creates, through both techniques, arty memories, as well as portraits and other creations that are close to her heart.
